Message-ID: <2600039@acf4.UUCP> Date: Tue, 28-May-85 15:23:00 EDT Article-I.D.: acf4.2600039 Posted: Tue May 28 15:23:00 1985 Date-Received: Fri, 31-May-85 02:28:06 EDT Organization: New York University Lines: 28 TO ALL WHO HAPPENED TO SEE PART 2 OF "IMAGE OF THE FENDAHL" RECENTLY: or anyone who didn't... [I saw it last night on WLIW in Long Island, NY] What was the meaning of all the announcer business? At the beginning, there was an announcer explaining the scenes from the previous part: in addition, there were blackouts every 7 minutes or so, presumably for commercial breaks --- COMMERCIAL BREAKS??? ON DR. WHO??? Then at the end, instead of giving way to the credit sequence, the part of the opening sequence displaying the "Doctor Who" logo was shown, followed by scenes from the next part of "Fendahl," narrated of course. This, in turn, gave way to the credits sequence, which, after the Director credit, continued on to display the name of the announcer (or introducer, as they said). Lionheart definitely did not add this in, as this part was distributed by Time/Life (Single episode format...) Wha' 'apenned? A. G.
