Lines: 54 Well, since there haven't been many postings regarding AMC, I went home for lunch today to catch up on the action. Boy, was it worth it. Erica is now the Editor of TEMPO magazine - Adam Chandler is the publisher. Adam is using Tad, who is employed as a mail boy, to keep track of Erica. Dottie is also working for Tempo in the advertising department. Erica is doing fine as Editor. She hired an artist to do the lay-outs. He's very mysterious - and he has the same odd coin that Erica found after Mike's apparition left it at the monestary. Erica keeps trying to get the guy to tell her about himself, but he keeps avoiding the subject. Andrew came to see Dottie at her apartment in New York. He's starting something with her, but it's hard to tell if he's sincere. While Andrew was there, Tad and Greg walked in (Greg and Dottie share an apartment together). It seems Tad is staying at their place until he can find a place of his own. With all of these kids moving to New York, it almost looks as if the major stroy line will be in New York instead of Pine Valley for a while. Andrew then took Dottie out to the Staten Island Ferry and they sailed around and talked all night. Tad gave her a hard time about it when she came home, and it almost looks as if he's a little bit jealous. Daisy has been sentenced to 25 years to life for Zach's murder. Palmer went to see a judge to try to get her sentence reviewed, or a new trial. It looks as if it will have to go through the appeal process, however. The judge was no help. Now the biggie - guess who's pregnant? CYNTHIA!!! She's so hilarious. She was so proud of herself for being pregnant. She thought she was carrying Palmer's child - little did she know that Palmer was sterile! So she went over to the Manor to tell Palmer all about it, but he wasn't there. Anyway, she bragged to Myra about it, but Myra just kept quiet. She was going to let Cynthia dig her own grave. But Myra did tell Daisy. The next morning, Cynthia went to the Glamorama and talked to Donna. She asked Donna if Donna had received good financial support from Palmer because of Donna's child. Of course, Donna said that Palmer was very good to her, but not because of the child. Then she told Cynthia that the child wasn't Palmer's - Palmer is sterile. Cynthia was in shock. But she didn't let it get her down. She went to the Manor later and spoke to Palmer. She told him that she was pregnant - "Of course, I know it's not your child, Palmer. But it is Ross'. Palmer, I'm carrying your grandchild." Palmer just half-grinned at her. It's incredible! What a story-line. Now I wonder... If Cynthia is the murderer, how would the writers deal with having the mother in jail? Will they give the child to Palmer to raise? Or will Ellen accept it, and she and Ross raise it? I wonder if the writers would really deal with this subject. If she isn't the murderer, there are some very interesting plots that can come out of this. Anyway, that's it for today. Any of you out there who watch, please try to post. Unfortunately, I don't have a VCR and I can't get home too often for lunch. Thanks. -- Karen Pline --
