Since I've decided I like half-intensity, I hung the appropriate escape sequences on the various clear the screen codes. This unfortunately does not have the desired effect, on top of which the delay required for these functions is astronomical. Is there some hidden clear function I don't know about? Any help would be appreciated. Please mail as I don't normally read this group. Charley Wingate {siesmo|allegra}!umcp-cs!mangoe "For the mouse is a creature of great personal valour." C. Swift
