Info-unix seems like the wrong place, but net.wanted has more cars than
computers... Has anyone heard of any Optical character reader hardware
connected as an input device to a system, prefereably running UN*X? I'm
working on a proposal, and it looks like OCR is one of the requirements.
I haven't seen such a device since 1974. Who manufactures them? Who writes
software for them? Any pointers would be appreciated.
