Lines: 16 Xref: linus net.unix-wizards:10561 net.unix:4116 While playing around with my vt220, I found that the 8th bit for every character is set. I was trying to use the alternate character sets available. Is there a way to have Unix distinguish the character sets 0-127 and 128-255? I think this can be done in raw mode but I am looking for a cooked mode that does this correctly. Please respond by E-mail. Thanks. Jon S.
