All occupation titles can easily be rephrased (naturally, I think) without the *man nomenclature. journeyman = day laborer (in some cases), reliable worker (2nd def.) manpower = "staff" often works quite nicely ...just consult your dictionary or Thesaurus if you're stuck with an inadequate internal lexicon! ...but what do we call "snow in the shape of a human figure"???
