Accomodation is $4/head/day, and barracks-style. Planned dates are July 2-4, right after the long weekend. The idea is to have about 3 hrs/day of very informal seminars, mostly by grad students, on their general thesis area (or proposed area). I'd like people with odd computer applications and problems to attend and explain what's up. I hope to have people from several departments talk (e.g. DCS, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Physics, ...) so that everyone gets a better idea of what's happening next door. At the moment most people seem to graduate with no idea of the diversity of activity at the University. Maybe we could even get cooperative projects started ...
