I would like to know if anyone else has gotten it, what their experiences have been, and whether a mailing list has been set up for it. Toolpack/1 development was funded by the Department of Energy, the National Science Foundation and the United Kingdom's Science and Engineering Research Council. As a result it is available essentially for reproduction costs. It includes general text manipulation tools (similar to some PWB utilities), documentation tools (similar to nroff/troff), and Fortran 77 specific tools: lexical and semantic analyzers, execution instrumentor, documentation extractor, pretty printer, symbol table generator and others. It also includes a system independant command interpreter and tree-structured file storage system.
