Margulies" I have run extensive performance analysis on Hyperchannel connected to Honeywell equipment. It goes real fast as a point-to-point stream, and blows its brains out as soon as there is significant volume pf packet traffic. I had to add a home-grown flow-control/retry protocol under IP to get anything close to rated speed even from IP, due to collisions of acks and data. I strongly dis-recommend it.
