I have thus been avidly following all related postings on the net, but have not heard any specifics on the units I am considering. I've pretty much decided on the Yamaha R-3 receiver, which I saw for about $230. As for speakers, I was pleased with the Boston A-60s for $200 and the new Linn Index for $300. I also liked the Cerwin-Vega CF-2 (I think that was the number) for $200 at a different (cheaper, I think) dealer. My final decision will obviously depend on how it all sounds together, but I'd appreciate hearing about any comments people have about the performance of these particular components and/or the prices that I've been quoted for them. (Or any better suggestions.) Thanx loads. Jay (I'm new at this, so there's no fancy signature) Hyman allegra!jay
