Lines: 13 . The lobe for the exhaust valve on cylinder number 4 of my '80 Accord with 106,000 miles looks worn slightly, about .01 inch. (I can tell because the rocker arm does not touch a small part of the lobe.) The other lobes look OK. The Honda service manual gives no hint as to how worn it can get. What are the consequences of leaving it alone? A book on rebuilding Honda engines says this often happens at 75,000 miles, even if you do regular oil changes, and the camshaft must be replaced. Does anybody have experience with this problem?
