The federal government has the right to withhold federal highway funds from any state in which this is the case. Since these funds make up a significant portion of any states highway budget, the guys in Annapolis are in somewhat of a tizzy. Its not that the sloths want to force people to go slow in particular, rather the Federal government puts economic pressure on the state to do so.... -eli -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Eli Liang --- University of Maryland Computer Vision Lab, (301) 454-4526 ARPA: liang@cvl, liang@lemuria, eli@mit-mc, eli@mit-prep CSNET: liang@cvl UUCP: {seismo,allegra,brl-bmd}!umcp-cs!cvl!liang
