But what exactly does horsepower means? Another question is what does torque means? I often heard that greater torque translates to more power in high engine revolution, why? Some engines have less horsepower but lots of torque while others have lots of horsepower but low torque. What are the factors that affect these numbers? These questions bother me for a long time. Any response is appreciated.
