Most of the hot air balloonists know each other, especially if they are from an area within a few hundred mile radius. Best way to find a balloonist? The ones I worked with had adds in the yellow pages, honest! The other way? Ask at the local airport about where balloons often fly. Then go there on a Saturday or Sunday morning about sunrise.
