Remembering the discussion of Davies's book in net.books recently, I thought to
mention that the June 13th issue of _The_New_York_Review_of_Books_ has a review
by Martin Gardner of Davies's _Superforce:_The_Search_for_a_Grand_Unified_
Theory_of_Nature_ and Heinz R. Pagels's _Perfect_Symmetry:_The_Search_for_the_
Beginning_of_Time_.  (both published by Simon and Schuster)

The review mentions the latter more, but perhaps some editor deemed the former
more selling, since it is mentioned on the cover of the issue.
