I didn't think it was as good as some of his others. It took me two days to read instead of the usual all-nighter. The subject of Ludlum has probably been done before but I haven't seen anything (I've only been reading net.books for a couple of months). Does anybody else have any opinions on Ludlum's books, style, grammar, etc... I personally like him and I think his recent books are his best ones. My favorites are 'The Matarese Circle', 'The Chancellor Manuscript', and 'The Bourne Identity'. I don't think Ludlum can compare to Orwell, or Dickens in terms of "classic writing" but for a good action-packed book that is entertaining, I don't think there are many that can compare. cheers, -- Colin Biggin Univperversity of Wonderloo Waterloo, Ontario "They were the best of times, they were the worst of times.
