Oh, this has the ring of plot kludge to it.  "Have you ever noticed that you

people who look a hell of a lot like Jean...

No, I can't buy this.  Up till this, I can accept a lot of this as credible
Marvel plotting, but I don't think Shooter would allow this, either.
