well, they did it.  they killed off supergirl.  although it
bordered on the overly melodramatic, i was kind of touched
(of course, i cried during the "eight is enough" christmas episodes).
superman's reflections on the "early days" did strike a chord with
me.  i used to read alot of dc's titles when i was young{er} and
the character in the crisis series had grown up alot.

i've been kind of depressed all day.  i haven't felt this way
since spock died.  i guess it serves me right for not going to see
the supergirl movie.
