INFORMATION WANTED ON "MOUNTAIN" BIKES
 
I'm considering buying a "mountain" bike.  I'm looking 
for any technical data on these bikes (i.e. best frames, gear sets,
brakes, etc.).  Also, any manufacturer recommendations 
would be greatly appreciated.
