You certainly have my sympathy, as it is clear that you have not tasted barbeque, only some poor imitation of the most delicious route to intestinal cancer. I am continually dissapointed by the false claims made by restaurants up here ("Southern Style Bar-b-que" my foot!) In any case, don't judge barbeque by your neighbor's backyard stuff or something you got from any restaurant west of the Mississippi or north of the Mason-Dixon line (well, maybe Texas is OK). I hope you get the opportunity to try some of the real stuff, smoked over hickory (etc) (not charcoal) and basted with real barbeque sauce (not Kraft or the sweet & hot goop they call barbeque sauce around here). I place a vote for corned beef hash in scrambled egg for a messy yet tasty dish. Also, my mom (excuse me, mah maw) used to get us to eat oatmeal by adding green food color and red hots (looked like Christmas). I confess that when milk was added, it looked less than appetizing. (but the red hots really are good in oatmeal) Nemo -- Internet: nemo@rochester.arpa UUCP: {decvax, allegra, seismo, cmcl2}!rochester!nemo Phone: [USA] (716) 275-5766 work, 232-4690 home USMail: 104 Tremont Circle; Rochester, NY 14608 School: Department of Computer Science; University of Rochester; Rochester, NY 14627
