I love clams best simply steamed over high heat in a water/wine liquid for about five or six minutes then dipped into the steaming liquid and melted butter However, also good are clams sauteed with mushrooms and shallots finished withwith wine and tossed gently in the pan with fresh cooked rice and chopped parsley. This works equally well with fresh mussels if you can get them. Does anyone have a good recipe for chili made with roast beef instead of hamburger. I used to be able to get it when I lived in Oregon and want to make some at home. Thanks in advance! Anne M.
