The "refusal to start" sounds odd--usually piston seizure occurs during hard running. To have your bike seize up just as you get it into the garage is awfully lucky, actually. It sounds like your cylinder got gummed up from running at wrong temperature or wrong mixture. If you've got the right plug then something very freaky happened to your injection system or the reed valve.
