Well, thanks to everyone who reponded.  My bike came with a Dunlop
684 on the back and something like Gold F11 on the front.  Both were
pretty bad, so I'm probably going to go with the Metzlers (the ME33
and ME99A) assuming I can get them around here.

Other suggested tires were the Dunlop 291, Michelin and the Continental
K112 + RB2.
