Has anyone got GNU Emacs (15.34) up and running on a 4.1 BSD system?

And/Or on a machine without signed characters.

And/Or on a machine without alloca().

I'm trying to but I have very little free time.

Also is there anyone out there collecting together all the various fixes
for GNU?  I'd hate to have to do all this again for the next release or
if I want to 'port it to a different machine.
