In the lates issue of New Scientist, a scathing expose of abuse of stuffed
animals in research labs was recently presented.  Actual photographs of stuffed
animals having their eyes pulled out and with their heads stuck full of
hypodermic needles were shown.  The researchers offered the lame excuse that
the work was needed to make sure that the animals were safe for children.  No
thought was given at all to the suffering of the cudley little bugers.  Don't
these people have any feelings at all?
