You must live on a different planet. There are no high school students like that around here. (No, I'm not in high school. But I have to deal with them.) I agree with the original poster and the DJ. I gave up listening to most radio stations for just what was descibed. Scenerio: Radio station has a 'request hour/night/day/weekend' to (supposedly) uncover some forgotten and overlooked music. (I used to love request shows because it was an opportunity to deviate from the top-40 disease.) But does it work that way? NOOOOOOOOOOOOO, the high schoolers (with a few junior high and college types thrown in) call in and request the same top-40-play it-every-hour stuff that you hear anyway!
