I must say, however, that I am appaled at the lack of courtesy and decidedly moronic attidude of some of the contributors. (Scott Turner and others). Before flaming back to me (OOH, SOME PEOPLE ARE SOOOO TOUCHY!), let me say that I do understand the "rules of cunduct" or lack of them on net.flames. Even though "all bets are off" as quoted in net.news (note 5), I get PISSED OFF (ooops! there goes my civility!) when morons use unecesarily insulting language in reply to tongue-in-cheek postings (Jeanette, I love your style!!). The recent series of postings by Jeanette Zobjeck and the replies of Scot Turner are a perfect example. While Jeanette's posting were amusing and sarcastic, Turner's were downright disgusting. ******HERE I SMOLDER!!**** Scott, I don't know what you do for a living, but I would swear that you are a pimply-face 14 year-old. If not, perhaps a beer-slugging neanderthal. In any case, you don't sound like a mature professional. STAY OF THE NET OR CLEAN UP YOUR ACT *************************** By the way, could we not find another topic of discussion than bloody sanitary napkins?? With reguards to the AM versus FM stations: While it is true that most if not all of the AM DJs are "motor-mouths", I found that in the Boston area at least, the FM DJs are just as bad. During a recent trip to that area, I was begining to think that perhaps the car radio was malfunctioning (THIS CAN'T BE FM!!!). Luckilly, In Canada, most FM stations have not degenerated as much as in the US. DJs actually use a normal tone of voice and speak at a normal rate!!!
