I suppose that nobody really cares about communists dying in death
camps. After all, if they were good communists they could go and
die in the Gulag. Quite surprisingly, many of the Jews I know in
France have been communists as well. Should they have died in the
camps, would they have been communist victims, or jewish victims.
Needless to say the problem is unsolvable for a Polish communist
jewish gay... Of course, it doesn't really matter that 20 MILLION
soviets (i.e. people from the USSR) have also died during the war ;
it is probably Stalin's fault. I must say I am not a communist, I
am just anti-anti-communist.
   Concerning the Nazis and SS, I believe that many who were
drafted in the SS didn't really know, or have the choice. Who would
say that French people all were Nazis during the war just because
the Germans drafted and induced enough people there to form a
whole division, the unfamous SS-Division Charlemagne (Karolus) ?
 (By the way, they fought on the Eastern front, they were probably
all anti-communists.)
   Subsidiary question : How many Americans died in death camps ?
