Summary: 

Having followed several  dialogues  in  net.flame  since  joining
(about  six  weeks),  I finally feel compelled to speak directly.
Two subjects raise their exceedingly ugly heads: Alex Quilici and
Scott R. Turner.

The dialogues involve toilet  paper,  pissing,  and  abuse.   The
subjects have been abusive, petty, and just plain irritating.

I have just read followups by Sophie Quigley and  Larry  Wall  to
Alex's  `cute'  joke.   What  an asshole!  Here we have a network
supported by the members (people like Larry providing superlative
software) that gives little isolated people a window and lifeline
to the rest of the WORLD.  And some jerk  like  Alex  chooses  to
impose his deranged sense of humor on the rest of his fellows.  I
don't object to foul language  or  personal  abuse  (actually,  I
think a fair dose is stimulating), but I do think that given that
there's a forum for it it's rude and  inconsiderate  to  post  it
elsewhere.   Where  do you live Alex?  Shall we copy all the foul
postings from net.flame and wallpaper your home with  them?   How
about mailing them to your family and signing your name?

I think its fortunate that there are still  some  reasonable  and
rational  people  peopling  this  network.  Hopefully either Alex
will learn that his humor  is  not  appreciated  or  he  will  be
excised.

The other subject is Scott.  I have read, appreciated, and agreed
with  Jeanette's  latest  reply.   She has responded to psychotic
howling with intelligence and sensitivity.   Maybe  some  of  you
object  to  sensitivity  and  intellegence  in  net.flame.  But I
definitely object to Scott.  He took  what  was  mostly  fun  and
amusing  and  made  it  absurd.  His mouthings remind me of every
bully I've ever known or heard of.  He clearly has  the  need  to
degrade  and  demean  those  around him in order to assert his 1)
masculinity, 2) maturity (barf), and 3) superiority.  Hey  Scott?
Call  a  hospital NOW!  If you are involved with a woman (which I
seriously doubt) or  motss  (more  likely),  please  advise  that
person  to  split  SOON!   You are likely to do them some serious
damage - emotional or physical.  I think I know a place where you
can get a cheap lobotomy and save us all further worry.

Here's another one who needs to be cut  out.   I  don't  know  if
anyone  else  uses  the  net at his site, but I think they should
remove his login.  If he continues, I think he should be  removed
from the net.

People like Alex and Scott change the net from a wonderful window
on the world to a peephole into an outhouse.
