For instance, the Chinese culture has a different perspective on time and aging than we do here in Amurrica. A black person is seldom just a white guy with a real good tan. There's a whole lot of environmental stuff which is different, there's a small amount of genetic stuff which results in some superficial morphological differences, and there's an unknown contribution to personality and character from possibly genetic sources. Not a whole lot of study has gone on in that area, for various reasons, but separated-twin studies tend to indicate that there is a stronger genetic determinant in personality formation than we would like to think.
