The line feeds in net.jokes are bad enough, but they are but 25 bytes (or so), whereas some of the ridiculous .signatures I see at the bottom of (usually one-line additions to somebody else's postings, which are, naturally, included in full as if we needed to read the whole thing again) postings which are poor to begin with. AAAAAARRRRRRGGGHHHHH. I don't mind something cute. And I'm in favor of including the CONTEXT of whatever article it is that you are replying to, but let's exercise some discretion, folks. There are those of you out there who do it just right. A one or two line signoff, with a quote from Bob Dylan or somebody else who Knows, and your dad-blamed name, never mind all the pictures of horses and lengthy descriptions of where you work!
