Also Cosmic Encounters won the Best New Game of the Year, several years ago. Be forwarned - it's costly , and had lots of expander sets. Just start with the basic game and play that until you're bored before you buy the expander kits. (I think there might be 15 expansion kits by now.) This game goes much quickly, depending on what house rules you play by, like maybe 1-2 hours per game. Involves luck as well as skill. Best bet is to find someone else that has it, to see if you like it, before you invest all that money in the game though. Has aspects of poker - bluffing, keeping your cards/powers unknown to others. I must say that I enjoyed Cosmic Encounters immensely. Can be played by any number of players (2 to 10+), but 5 makes the best game, I think.
