I think his character name was Adam Cartwright.  Cartwheel ???

The others were:
		Lorne Greene - Ben (Pa)
		Dan Blocker - Hoss
		Michael Landon - Little Joe

They lived on a ranch called the Ponderosa which was about 1/2 the size of
Texas.
