My Germain Shorthair Pointer was very effective at keeping away rabbits.
I never realized how much so until she passed away last winter, and now
the farm is crawling with rabbits.  I can't be sure, but I don't think she
ever killed any; she just loved to chase them, and rabbits being sensible
creatures, they packed up their families and moved to a better neighborhood!
