I have used the database program called DB Master on an apple IIe for over
two years now.  It works fairly well - not fantastic, not bad either.  It
allows you to make up your own formats for input and output.   We
have a Corvus hard disk, but this isn't essential.  There are many other
database products on the market. You might want to ask on net.micro.apple.
