Anybody got any good C low level host software to format commands and send them through the serial and/or DMA lines to this beast? (Including a 4.2-ized device driver. The DR-11 + block handshaking DMA driver we got from Tektronix is for 4.1aBSD. I hate reinventing wheels.) I would also be interested in a C .h file describing 3D display-list opcodes for DMA, since the DMA manual we got was written for the 4115 and only has 2D opcodes in it. Background: The Tek 4128 is a 3D, segmented display list device with editable segment hierarchy and a raster display engine. The 4129 has hidden surface and shading capability in addition. We are going to use it for interaction with the Alpha_1 B-spline-based solid modelling system, developed here. Thanks in advance. -Russ Fish ({ihnp4,decvax}!utah-cs!fish, fish@utah-cs.ARPA)
