In a break with the Bearcat tradition of selectable scan delay on a per-channel basis, this model appears to have a 3 second global scan delay which cannot be defeated. None of these models provides 800 MHz band coverage. These new models lend credence to the prediction that UNIDEN intends to concentrate on 'back to basics', low cost designs and de-emphasize full featured scanners aimed at more sophisticated radio enthusiasts. -- =============================================================================== Bob Parnass, Bell Telephone Laboratories - ihnp4!ihu1h!parnass - (312)979-5414
