to all radio amateurs bt

on june 6, arrl  filed  a  petition  with  the  fcc  requesting
enhanced  privileges  for novice class amateur radio operators.
arrl requested that the fcc authorize rtty, data modes and  ssb
phone  on  a portion of the 10 meter band, and all modes on the
220 mhz band and a portion of the 1.2 ghz band.  details can be
found  in  the  arrl  letter  and  qst.   no rm number has been
assigned to the petition at this date  ar
