In my collection of bad taste items, I have a volume entitled "The Wit and Humor of Richard Nixon" by Bill Adler. It's a thin book with lots of white space. Examples: "The Russian bear is always most dangerous when its arms are outstretched in a gesture of seeming friendship." "I want you to know how much I appreciate the opportunity to speak to you today and particularly in view of the weather that I understand cannot be blamed on the Republicans because we had it yesterday, too."
