C64BOOT.BAS and C64BOOT.CLU are the bootstrapping programs for the
CROSS (not the FORTH) version of Commodore-64 Kermit.  The CLU program
runs on the mainframe, the Basic program runs on the C-64.  See the
manual, C64KER.DOC, for details.  Since most computers do not have the
CLU language available, C64BOOT.CLU will probably have to be translated
into a more common language, like C, Pascal, or Fortran (anyone who
does this is encouraged to contribute the result back to Columbia for
distribution with this package).
