I'm trying to get Microsoft's Multiplan to read an ascii text file generated
by Helix.  The file consists of records separated by carriage returns.
Records consist of fields separated by tabs.  I chose the file and
Multiplan then picked Open from the File menu.  Multiplan complained
that the SYLK id record was missing, then gave me an empty work sheet.
If you can give me any assistance, it would be greatly appreciated.  Thanx
