I think the problem has something to do with AppleTalk - perhaps Around version 1.50 I made a couple of changes to VersaTerm that would allow VersaTerm to coexist with AppleTalk (ie the printer port is not initialized on startup, but rather whenever you print). But, don't ever try to "Print Stream..." whenever you are configured to AppleTalk, the printer port will be initialized to 9600 baud etc. Sometime in the future, a version of VersaTerm may support printers and or serve as a virtual terminal on the AppleTalk network.
