Came as a vanilla 128K machine. I'm having to re-learn a lot about disk configurations, work-styles, etc, since I have used only the 512K systems in the past. Question: If I buy the 512K upgrade from Apple, will I be able to retain that investment, even if I go for the ROM + hardware upgrade that is rumored? Ie, will the hardware upgrade allow more memory, but not using compatible chips? If so, maybe I should live with my skinny Mac for a while.
