The easiest way is to simply call down the notebook DA, type a tab character somewhere, cut it (into the clipboard), and then go back to the edit dialog box and do a paste of the tab character into the "Replace with" TE field. This also works if you want to replace one character with two, etc. Kludgy, but it works... /ken/
