Well, thanks to a USEneter's comment, I verified that these 2 DAs do NOT 
work with Finder 4.1, but DO operate once you are in an application run 
from that Finder.  Hence, it seems that they simply won't work under the 
Finder.  Hummmmm...

Also, while the Scientific Calculator's keys are rather self-evident, 
does anyone know how to effectively use the Financial Calc?
