Hi All,
  A friend of mine just bought a IBM PC clone from Canon.  After

a week he wanted a modem for the machine.  Since he is a
do-it-yourselfer he wants to build the modem himself.  He asked me
for help but I had no knowledge of a modem kit for the PC.  If anyone
can help me out I would appreciate it (my friend is trying to rip
the modem out of my system!).
