A "trivial" question:

Can anybody tell me why the Wicked Witch of the West melted when she got 
wet?  If so, would you please SEND ME MAIL (so as not to clutter up the 
net) telling me why?  I promise I'll let you all know when I get a 
reasonably definitive answer.
