One thing I found a plus is that it is not narrated by a close friend/associate/music expert, but lets each of them verbalize their own feelings about their career and associated problems. Brian Wilson speaks openly about his drug-related recluse and subsequent return to the studio as well as touring again. The much-publicized alcohol problems of drummer Dennis Wilson are brought to light by Carl Wilson (though nothing revelating is mentioned). There is also a lot of concert/tv show footage (possibly too much) that seems to drag a little. Overall, I'd give the video-tape a rating of 5.5 on a scale of 10. If you enjoy old footage of Beach Boys concerts, or then this is a must. Dale Chavez Colorado Springs, CO. ...decvax!decwrl!dec-rhea!dec-gaea!dchavez Posted: Sun 16-Jun-1985 10:43 MDT To: NET.MOVIES
