I think you mean actorS, whether you realize it or not.  George Lazenby
played Bond in the recent Man From Uncle film, I think it was called
RETRUN OF THE MAN FROM UNCLE.  Then there was the Barry Nelson version
of CASINO ROYALE run on the CLIMAX tv anthology series in the mid-50's.
That technically is a movie and it was certainly made for TV.
