	....I hear that the previously scheduled shows for the CAL EXPO 
for June 8th,9th have been cancelled. This still leaves the anniversary
weekend of June 7th open (unscheduled). The DEAD Hotline did report that 
the DEAD will NOT play at Golden Gate State Park on June 7th or any other
date this summer. Oh well. 

	....I also heard that supposedly the September Red Rocks shows
are cancelled too! Once again to "technical difficulties" with the 
management there. The story seems to be that there are some sort of 
sound baffles on the stage that the Dead can't (won't) deal with and 
the management refuses to remove them....so the Dead refused to play.
Hopefully they'll work something out by Sept., although this is the second
year of unsettled diffficulties there.
